Its RS485 communication interface has photoelectric isolation function, which can stably transmit data in multi device networking scenarios, with a maximum communication distance of up to 1200 meters. Does the internal power consumption of the RS485 metering circuit breaker affect the metering data?

Answer:No,it can’t. The self power consumption of RS485 metering circuit breakers will not be included in the measurement data for external loads.
The core principle is to separate the measurement path from the power supply path:
Measurement independence: The current transformer (CT) used for measurement is connected in series in the load circuit and only measures the current flowing to downstream equipment.
Independent power supply: The power consumption of internal circuits (chips, communication modules) is supplied by an independent auxiliary power supply circuit on the incoming line side, and this current does not pass through the CT on the load side.
