Photovoltaic Circuit Breaker-PVB-2P
WDYK Photovoltaic Circuit Breaker is mainly used to automatically restore power supply after transient faults in the power grid. Its working principle is that when the power grid fails and causes a power outage, the reclosing device will automatically close after the power grid returns to normal, reconnecting the photovoltaic power generation system with the power grid. The implementation of reclosing requires precise voltage and phase detection to avoid the impact current caused by asynchronous reclosing and ensure the safety of equipment and personnel.
The frequent tripping of photovoltaic grid connected circuit breakers is mainly due to the following reasons:
1、Real electrical failure: component or cable insulation degradation leading to excessive leakage current; Grounding fault or internal short circuit caused by component hot spots on the DC side; Loose or oxidized connection points in the circuit cause excessive contact resistance, leading to overheating.
2、Protection function misoperation: The rated current or protection setting of the circuit breaker is too small, which is less than the actual output current of the photovoltaic array; DC leakage protection may malfunction due to detection errors or humid environment.
3、Power grid and system issues: Voltage/frequency fluctuations in the power grid exceed the allowable range for grid connection, triggering protection; Transient overvoltage caused by harmonic interference or lightning surge.
4、Equipment and selection issues: Incorrect selection of circuit breakers, insufficient breaking capacity or rated voltage to meet system requirements; Circuit breaker malfunction, such as abnormal tripping mechanism.
