AFDD Monitoring RCBO-AFDD-2P
WDYK AFDD monitoring RCBO can comprehensively detect series arc (such as disconnection, poor switch contact), parallel arc (such as short circuit of live wire and neutral/ground wire caused by insulation damage of the line), and grounding arc (such as contact between live wire and grounding equipment housing), accurately capturing potential hazards, whether they occur in the middle of the line, at joints, or inside the equipment. At the same time, it also has a metering function that can accurately capture the metering data of electrical equipment, allowing customers to understand energy consumption statistics and control them reasonably.
The core maintenance of AFDD metering residual current circuit breaker includes:
1、Press the ‘test button’ every month to test the leakage protection function.
2、Clean and inspect the appearance every six months, and have a professional electrician check the tightness of the wiring every year.
3、Analyze the records after each trip and investigate the cause of abnormal actions.
The core arc detection function test requires the use of a dedicated arc fault simulation generator, operated by professionals. It is usually recommended to conduct it at least once a year to ensure reliable identification and cutting off of dangerous arcs. If the test fails or the routine test fails, it indicates that the protection function has failed and must be replaced immediately. All maintenance operations must be completely powered off to ensure safety.
